How subscription cost relates to a generation

The allocation below assumes you use every monthly credit. It is not a pay-as-you-go purchase price. Example: 5s · 720p · no audio. Annual billing charges the whole year upfront and grants credits monthly. Credits expire after 30 days; unused credits do not roll over.

What is Seedance 2.0?

Seedance 2.0 is ByteDance's earlier video generation model — the lower-credit sibling of Seedance 2.5. It produces short clips with optional native audio and suits quick drafts and variations. On VideoDance it is wired with 5 and 10 second options.

Budget for variations of a single shot

Keep duration, resolution and audio settings fixed while changing the prompt. That makes the credit budget predictable and the differences easier to judge. Budget for rejected attempts too: a generation is not a guaranteed usable clip.

A prompt to adapt

A yellow paper boat floats across a shallow puddle. Low camera angle, gentle tracking movement, soft overcast light. Keep the boat in view throughout. Water sounds, no dialogue.

Change one element at a time when comparing variations.

What to check before choosing this model

The 480p setting uses fewer credits and the final quote is rounded to whole credits. Inspect your intended crop before committing to more variations.

Common questions

How to review your output

  1. 1

    A controlled comparison

Keep the duration, resolution, framing and sound setting unchanged. Change only the boat action or camera instruction in each variation.

  2. 2

    Track the subject

Watch the bow and edges of the paper boat for deformation. Confirm the boat stays in frame and its movement agrees with the water.

  3. 3

    Review the delivery crop

Inspect a downloaded output at the intended display size. A low-resolution draft can help evaluate composition, but cannot establish final detail quality.
