How subscription cost relates to a generation

The allocation below assumes you use every monthly credit. It is not a pay-as-you-go purchase price. Example: 5s · 720p · no audio. Annual billing charges the whole year upfront and grants credits monthly. Credits expire after 30 days; unused credits do not roll over.

What is Seedance 2.5?

Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's multimodal video generation model — the current flagship of the Seedance line — built to produce short clips with synchronized audio. The upstream model also accepts reference video and reference audio; on VideoDance the text-to-video form is wired with 5, 10 and 15 second options.

Plan a short scene before spending credits

A five-second shot is a useful starting point for one action: a product turning, a person walking into frame, or a camera moving past a subject. Describe the action and camera movement separately so you can change one without rewriting the other. A longer duration costs more credits; it does not guarantee a complicated sequence will follow your instructions.

A prompt to adapt

A ceramic cup rests beside a rain-covered window. The camera slowly moves closer as steam rises. Keep the cup stationary and the background softly out of focus. Ambient rain only, no speech.

Change one element at a time when comparing variations.

What to check before choosing this model

Compare Seedance 2.0 if a five- or ten-second clip covers your brief. Use the credit tables with identical settings. A price difference is not a quality ranking.

Common questions

How to review your output

  1. 1

    Subject stability

Watch the cup rim, handle and its position against the window. Reject a take if the stationary object drifts or changes shape.

  2. 2

    Camera versus subject motion

Check that the camera moves toward the cup while the cup stays still. A closer framing alone does not establish correct motion.

  3. 3

    Sound and continuity

If audio is enabled, listen for rain and unintended speech. Check steam and reflections throughout the clip, not only the first frame.
